  • eg. decrease str, dex, con, int, wis, cha

Undermine

Reduce the effectiveness of character skills

  • eg. gain disadvantage on attack rolls
  • eg. penalty to skill checks or saving throws

Expose

Make a character more vulnerable to certain damage or effects

  • eg. take 5 extra damage from fire attacks
  • eg. acid damage is doubled

Debilitate

Place negative conditions on characters

  • eg. make them blind
  • eg. make them laugh uncontrollably
